Pension Joining Pack
When employees join the company pension scheme they will be issued with a member schedule and booklet. This gives details on the company pension scheme including contributions, death benefits and any ill-health cover that may apply.
Annual pension benefit statements
Each year, where we are the Registered Administrator of a scheme we will issue a pension benefit statement for each member, giving details on their company pension plan, including a breakdown of all contributions paid and total charges deducted, as well as the current value. The statement also provides future projected values, giving members an idea of the type of retirement fund they can expect to accumulate by the time they retire.
Investment updates
We produce investment updates on a regular basis to help trustees and members to keep up to date with the performance of the pension fund in which they are invested.

Services for group pension arrangements
Pension education
For most people, understanding how their pension works can be difficult. To overcome this, Irish Life Corporate Business has a team of suitably qualified professionals who provide pension education and awareness to pension scheme members – the AIM team. If required, they can do a work-site presentation to members of company pension schemes. After the presentation, they can meet with members individually to go through their retirement funding requirements.
Payroll download
To make it easier for employers to pay us contributions we have a payroll download system in operation. Downloading contributions from an employer's payroll system and submitting them to us electronically has proven to be the approach that is most efficient. We work with a number of payroll providers to help make this process run smoothly.
Income protection claims
We provide a highly innovative income protection claims service. Our programme includes a home visit service, back to work programmes, career change and rehabilitation programmes. Our approach towards income protection claims focuses heavily on early intervention, claims management and back to work programmes.
