We are delighted to announce that Irish Life Staff Charities donated an incredible total of €414,000 to two Irish charities. The funds were raised throughout 2021 by employees through various fundraising initiatives undertaken and the amount was then matched by Irish Life to reach this final total. 

2021 has shown another record-breaking year of generosity and fundraising efforts from everyone in Irish Life. Despite not being able to run any in-person events again, Irish Life staff still pulled together and ran several initiatives for our Staff Charities, including Fantasy Football and Golf and many other virtual fundraisers.

Last week, we had an amazing virtual gig with Imelda May and the total raised for our 2021 charities was announced. The Staff Charities Committee handed over cheques totalling €414,000 to Larkin College and ALONE. This was €207,000 raised by staff and €207,000 from Irish Life which continues to match every Euro employees raised.

Despite everything, Irish Life staff once again exceeded the previous year's target!  This is an incredible amount of money for both Charities and will help provide support services and equipment needs.

The 2021 Charites

ALONE empowers older people to live at home for as long as they wish. This is important now more than ever with the social isolation and loneliness arising from Covid 19.

Larkin Community College, based in the heart of Dublin 1, Larkin Community College is close to our hearts at Irish Life. Situated just around the corner from the Irish Life offices, Irish Life have a long standing partnership with the college and have mentored students in the school for many years. We hope that our support will help build a better future for hundreds of young people in our local community for years to come.
