Irish Life Staff Charity Abseil event

More than 100 Irish Life staff will abseil down the front of the iconic Irish Life head office building Friday 21 Aug 2015 – raising funds for this year's selected Irish Life Staff Charities the St Francis Hospice and Friends of Frank.

Double for your trouble

The company matches every Euro Irish Life staff raise for their selected charities. With each participant aiming for a minimum of €100 in sponsorship, and some of those roped in raising a whopping €1,000, the St Francis Hospice and Friends of Frank charities will receive more than €11,000 each for this event alone. However, the final amount raised for each charity will not be known until December 2015, when Irish Life Staff Charities make their final presentation to the charities.

20 years later and still going strong

The Irish Life Staff Charities was formed in 1995. Each year, Irish Life staff choose two charities and run a series of events throughout the year to raise money. Irish Life Staff Charities have donated more than €1,600,000 since then.

Fundraising events this year

With a few more fundraising events up their sleeves for 2015, and some fundraising events having taken place already this year including the inaugural Great Irish Life Staff Charities bake off – The Irish Life Staff Charities are hoping to beat last year’s target of €75,000 for each charity.
